The NBOA Strategic Plan was developed by the NBOA Board of Directors to provide future direction for the association. The current plan is based on data collected from the 2021 NBOA Member Needs Assessment, qualitative member interviews and facilitated discussions among the NBOA Board and NBOA Staff. The plan components include the mission, vision, goals, strategies, outcomes and metrics for the association.
The NBOA bylaws specify how the association will conduct its business and also serve as a contract between the association and its membership. The NBOA bylaws describe association meetings, elections of the NBOA Board of Directors, officers, filling vacancies, and duties of officers, committees, in addition to how the association will routinely conduct itself. The bylaws have been formally adopted by the NBOA Board of Directors and may be amended by a majority vote of the same.
